Decisions are made through regular meetings of the full Authority. At these meetings, the Chief Constable, Chief Executive and Treasurer present reports and updates to all Members.
In addition, the Authority operates through 11 groups, each with their own specialist area. A small number of Members sit on these, and receive in-depth updates and reports on areas such as performance, community engagement and HR. Below is an illustration of our reporting structure.
