Along with the 19 Members of the Police Authority, there are other representatives involved with our work.
Standards Committee
The Police Authority has a Standards Committee which, amongst other duties, is responsible for ensuring Members act in accordance with the Code of Conduct.
Along with two Authority Members, the Committee has three Independent Representatives:

Misconduct Panel Members
The Authority has a duty to maintain a list of members of the public who can act as Independent Misconduct Panel Members.
They may sit in hearing in cases arising from a complaint or conduct issue against such people as may be specified in the Police Misconduct Regulations 2004.
At present, we have four Members:
